Note : These are the older (2015? 2016?) models that were clearance out in Oct (about) last year for the new 2017 models which are mostly stick form. Expect the Ultra which kept it's shape like OP.

I'm not saying this is bad, just letting you know. I got this one for my parents for about $32 clearance at Target. It works fine for what they use it for.

The only reason I want this is for the headphone out on the remote for use on treadmill. Anyone reliably used a Bluetooth adapter with the TV headphone out? Preferably one that plugs in via USB (no batteries)?

Just put the Roku app on your phone - it gives you the same "private listening mode" that the remotes with headphone jacks do. You'll want wired headphones though; when I tried it with BT headphones there was so much latency that the A/V sync was noticeably off.

That's my normal setup. My TV is about 20 feet from my treadmill.

This is what I need to replace my old hardwired Roku which now seems to randomly reboot. In for one!

Anyone use a Logitech harmony remote with the roku and find that the button push lag is really bad? Or is it just my roku?

Only have experience with the one roku so not sure if its just me.

A little off topic ... I bought the Roku Stick (for use with my Insignia Smart TV). However whenever i switch input to ROKU, the screen/picture gets a washed out look. (I have tried to change via PICTURE settings on TV to no avail.) Any ideas?

To add to this, the new streaming plus sick had the same internals add this one, except it's a stick. I would prefer the box

These were only released Oct 2016, so not that old really. They were just clearanced to make room for the new models. I picked up an Ultra for $60.

They did a half-step update on the Ultra and Express+ this year by adding IR TV controls to the remote to change inputs and volume. Similar to when they added voice search to the Roku 3's.

I have a Roku 3 and Roku LT. I use my Logitech harmony 880 remote on both and I get a pretty long (.5 to 1 second) lag from each button push. You are not alone with the lag problem 😉

I have an older Roku, the 2 XS, and a Harmony 670. I've never had a problem. Works great. You might try setting up the Harmony again with your Roku to see if that helps.

You could try a few things:

Change HDMI input on the TV for the Roku.
Try a different HDMI cable.
If there are picture settings on the Roku, try playing with those.
