Account not needed to check out with discount.

After adding the drive to your cart, in the shopping cart screen you should see a google checkout option near the other payment options. If you don't see this option come up, wait a minute or two, or try refreshing the page.

You must be using Chrome on an Android mobile device with Android Pay configured.

No, ports are soldered to drive interface, can't be taken out and used in laptops, PS4s etc

I've used a slightly older model WD external 3.0 drive for several years on my original Xbox one and now on the Xbox one x with no problems at all. In some minor cases it actually can speed up load times (due to 5400rpm internal HD). These are probably the best way to add lots of extra space for games or recordings to your Xbox. Super easy to setup as well.

Would this be a good external HD for the Xbox One?

I just ordered one, great price. OP should clarify that you have to use a mobile device to apply google pay. I first tried on my laptop via chrome and had to switch to my phone iot get $10 off. Again thanks for the great find

Before I dive in my research, which external drives are better for constant use?
Thinking of upgrading to MBP with only 128Gb and use this as storage for iPhoto libraries as well as using for final cut/ photo editing.

I have 2 of these WD - 2TB externals on my HP and they are in constant use. 2+ years old now. My Seagate versions both died...

I can't for the life of me figure out how to use Google Pay (Android Pay?) during checkout. It's only giving me options for credit card or paypal.
