Online, the 40%+20%.will stack until 1/13/18. These are the terms for those interested.

In stores it is good until 1/15/18

Clarification for anyone out there who got tricked like me:

This isn't one of the old school stacking coupon things where Banana Republic accidentally left two coupons active that stacked for a ridiculous discount. This is a promotion they're running, which means that they've adjust prices accordingly. Legitimately, this deal is noted right in the page banner. I sincerely doubt that prices are notably better now than they were before this sale. As with any one of their sales, I'm sure certain items are marginally discounted, but unless you have been price-tracking, you probably won't be able to tell which ones are *actually* significantly cheaper during this sale, compared to the rest.

Seems like the old: let's double prices before we give a 40% off.
Shirts that you can get for $30 normally are $40+ with this deal.

Yes, as I pointed out above, this is a planned 'deal' that Banana Republic is running, NOT the accidental code stacking that happened so often about 3 years ago. This 'stacking' coupon is literally listed on the Banana Republic website banner. As soon as I saw that, I didn't even bother looking any further.

I do keep track of prices on items that I am interested and of the items that I looked at, I did not see the price go up. But of course I don't keep track of all the items.

I put a threshold of around $15 on polos and found a few this for around, the cheapest being $11 after the 3 discounts. But I don't post those specific limited items because usually there are only in one or two sizes and very limited and inevitably the first response is usually that it is sold out.

What BR has been recently is putting everything back on MSRP, and then letting the coupons work on them. I believe when you see a markdown price, the coupons aren't as good so you shouldn't be getting that much better of a deal. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Right. I've had the most luck at BR just dropping by the store when I'm at the mall. I find a $16-18 non iron grant fit shirt (cheapest I found on this deal online was $23 for plain pink) every other visit on clearance
