Well I'm assuming those drones you were using don't have the capability to hover by itself. The good thing about DJI's drones is that it'll hover in place at wherever its currently at. They also have obstacle avoidance along with several other safety features. With that being said I wouldn't trust those systems very much and they're not fool proof.

No lol these are 40 dollar drones I was flying. How hard are these to actually fly and not wreck? I'd hate to spend 1250 bucks only to wreck it.

I just recently purchased a mavic and it is incredibly easy to Fly. Nothing like the cheap $40 drones. I have had mine about 1.5 miles out already

Nice thanks I might just order one to mess around with. What's the highest you are allowed to fly? Or can fly?

They'll wreck pretty easily if you don't know what you're doing but as long as you use your head and use the beginners mode until you are comfortable with it then you should be fine.

There are also other tips in which you can follow which will help you from preventing a crash.
i.e. don't fly indoors, use prop guards if flying within close proximity to other objects, read the manual, and watch plenty of YouTube videos.

Accordin to FAA, I thinks it's 5 miles from an airport and 400ft in height

then you probably want to check out Spark ($399) or the new Tell toy drone ($99).

Nice thanks. So would the 99 dollar one be a good starter drone? I won't cry if I break a 99 dollar one compared to one that's 1300 lol

When you say the $99 one, do you mean the "Tello"? If so those aren't being released till around March.
