Anyway, sounds GREAT and loud as hell... Lots of bass (if you care). I've used it while working on my roof (flat, pitched roof), while working in the basement, while painting (spraying, with the speaker under the plastic)... Has fine paint spray particles on it lol... It has become my DIY/house work speaker to be honest.
Anyway. Samsung app to control it is a bit shitty, but good enough to get it working and connected to WiFi. I have streamed to the speaker almost exclusively using Spotify. May have tried Bluetooth also (works fine).
The ONLY bug I can think of that I have come across is: on the initial connection (in other words specifying the Samsung R3 as your playback/output device in Spotify) the audio plays faster... it plays at 1.25 or 1.5x normal speed. Solution: de-select and re-select the R3 in Spotify. Doesn't happen every time, and it's a minor annoyance when it does.
For me it's 9/10.

R5 is a larger one

Oh wow yeah? Interesting. To be fair I don't use it super often (only when working around the house). But I used it frequently for a good month in the fall of 2016 and I don't remember it happening often. Only sometimes on my initial connection for that day. Maybe if I used them frequently I'd feel like it happens all the time too. Sorry to hear it happens to you all the time :-(.
$60 is great, very nice! Enjoy :-). I feel like there aren't many people who have or use these speakers, at least compared to other wireless/battery ones and Echo type devices. Cool to see some interest in these, they're f*ckin' sweet.
