Iunno. I tend to love ww2 themed movies and christopher nolan's films. But this one...was slow..and story/character development was painful to watch.
I'll wait for 99 cent rentals. They end up that price somewhere eventually.

I agree. I was very disappointed by it after all the rave reviews. I thought the sound was the best part of the movie. I don't know how authentic it is, but the dogfights and the engine sounds were great. Seeing Cillian unnecessarily kill a kid because he plays a "spaz" (spastic/spasmodic person) or a bunch of people getting shot hiding in the hull of a beached ship with absolutely no reference camera shots or clues who was firing from where or why didn't make me like the movie. The movie could have been called "random scenes from the Dunkirk evacuation". You rarely saw the enemy in the movie. Anyone expecting cool war fighting or a story would be disappointed apart from the few dogfights.
dunkirk is well worth 2.99 especially if you have a nice surround setup.

Agreed, Dunkirk was awesome. I choose to forget they made this Dark Tower movie, though, even as a huge Idris Elba fan.

Does Amazon HD stream in 4k or does it steam at 1080p? (never rented from there before)

If only Dunkirk wasn't such a terrible movie.

Agreed. Sound was excellent but the movie was very unorganized and thrown together.

Dunkirk was terrible.

How do I check the expiration date of my digital credits? I see the amount of the credit when I check the balance but no expiration date.

i think Amazon doesn't support 4k movies at all.
Amazon supports Ultra HD and has done for a while. It's own originals are now usually in UHD as well as movies.

Having said that these $2.99 rentals are not UHD
