nice deal but I don't fish for crappie anymore, this rod only handle crappies at best , not even good for squids. medium power is best for many spiecies

This a a great rod for a child, or as a bait catching rod.

I love using an utralight with 2-4lb test for bass. Nothing beats the fight. Anyone can reel in a fish with 20lb braided line.

I concur. I use an ultralight rod primarily when fishing the ponds around the area. Makes catching a fish fun. If I took my medium heavy 30lb braid rod it would be too easy to pull the fish out and makes even moderately size fish seem puny when reeling them in.
