$12 ea and no tax for many and free shipping. Already own, but both games very much worth this price.

As a side note, an observation, it's starting to feel like 2013 with the PS3 where some of the best games of the generation are just sitting in my backlog now. Since BF, so many games have been on sale for console and PC that it has just gotten ridiculous and I know I won't get to them all before the next generation of hardware is released.

This is a good deal. Both these games are on my "if I can get for less than $20 list"

Doom has been $5 from redbox for a while now, but good deal if you wanted both games.

Both are on my $10 or less list so this is $2 too high each. I'm still debating how likely they are to drop in price. I still have Uncharted Lost Legacy and Horizon Zero Dawn which I haven't taken the shrinkwrap off among many others.

Except Redbox discs are often scratched and sometimes I read you don't even get the right movie as people switch them and the barcodes out, supposedly that happens at outdoor kiosks without good cameras more. Too bad Redbox didn't come up with a way to show you the disc (both sides) through a little window inside the machine before you finalize/pay.

If scratched or is a fraud disc, you call for refund. All of my calls took under 5 minutes total, except one which I guess the lady was new, took 1 hour. But still have to do extra. Yeah, redbox needs to fix this fraud issue for their own sake, and the customers'.

Ive gotten a dozen games from inside grocery stores and all have been in near mint shape with no issues. Blurays are tough, and I don't think games are rented as much as movies so they don't get handled.

Redbox customer support is also great if any issues arise.

The only downside is disc only, but for $5 if one by you has it its hard to beat.

Good price for two good games. I was not too impressed with the Doom demo but pro reviews were very good, so it's something to try for oneself. Very tempted by Prey, apparently it was also a good surprise (and the studio did a good job on Dishonored).

If you buy from Redbox, is there any advantage to getting there early vs. going when there is only 1 copy left a week later? In other words, is the disc you get totally random or do the people who go there first get the best discs? Probably random so it doesn't matter.

Redbox support always believes people when they say they got the wrong or a bad disc? You don't have to mail it back to them or send proof?

I highly recommend Prey. I was lukewarm on it when it came out, but i recently picked it up for cheap and i am greatly impressed. Definitely has a Bioshock/system shock feel with satisfying combat, very interesting and big environments, just all around very well designed. I'm obsessed with it at the moment.

The old Prey was amazing. For anybody who played both, how does this compare?

Ive had that happen with a movie I rented, quick call to redbox and they refunded me in under 5 minutes last time it happened.

ive had it happen over a dozen times, those 5 minute phone calls start to add up (and not always 5 minutes) and i have to actively check my cards to make sure im refunded.

then you get to deal with redbox banning your credit cards because its happened to you so many times, you have it easy.
