Have been using a single tap Insignia kegerator for a couple of years now, no issues with it. Did an adjustment to the thermostat, as well as added a computer fan, and keeps kegs nice and cool, average 36-38f. I'm almost sure that the Insignias are the same basic units as the overpriced ones, probably built in the same place by the same people. Lots of space inside, will fit a couple 5g corny kegs plus room for more bottles and cans as well.
Good price for a good unit.

I have the silver one with no upgrades, seems to be doing well so far. Easily convert the lines to ball lock for Homebrew and there's a spot for the CO2 tank to sit inside or outside.

On my 2nd unit. 1st wouldn't hold temp and they were quick to swap it out (dropped new off @ the house and took away the old). Been working well since.

Added a thermocouple-controlled switch and it work wonderfully w/o worrying about the setting on the control knob

Wonder if I should upgrade to the 2-tap...then the wife would start to ask if she could hook up an Angry Orchard or some other non-brew tank....Hmmm

You guys really drinking that much beer you need 2 taps?
Maybe for an office, frat house, or if your boys come over weekly. But otherwise, who's buying this and why?

Better variety between beers - Plus one tap could be for carbonated waters and such. You aren't limited to 5 gallon kegs either if you change the lines to ball lock, and could do something like 2~3 gallons.

I have a 3 tap KEEZER and you'd be surprised at how fast 5 gal of beer can go, especially during holidays.

It is common for Homebrew folks to have 4+ taps. I have 5 on a converted Costco chest freezer. When the neighbors are thirsty, beer goes fast.

I've converted my 2 tower kegerator to 6 taps total. I also homebrew, so that's where it comes in handy!
