Maybe I'm just getting old and hate bending down and tying my shoes but I love these things! LOL! But anyways yesterday I was going to order a couple pair of these on Amazon and it was going to run me over $15 for two pair! I went to their website instead and picked up 5 pair for $25.50 using the discount code "TRYLOCKLACES" for 10% off their sale price of $29.99.

Don't know why someone gave me a thumb's down but I can tell you they're tough & come in handy, and they have held up on my steel toe shoes running around working maintenance in the oil refinery without any problem for damn near a year now........

No, looking at the ones on my shoes right now they sure don't look reflective and they are not advertised as reflective, so I'd have to say no they are not reflective.

i don't normally say this but i feel it is appropriate here. for most people, this is your deal. but you gotta start to try to learn to buy stuff like this from ebay. these are going for 75 cents apiece with all kinds of colours, styles, materials, designs, reflective....up to $1 each you can even choose your style "lock." it's really a no-brainer, the only thing you have to deal with is long shipping from china which is easy to get use to if you start "today." this goes for all deals of this type. if i were to guess, the cost to make these is about 15 cents. if you had the patience to bid on ebay, you can probably get them for less than 50 cents for the most basic unbranded ones.

The cheap ones on Ebay are the cheap single silcone/plastic ones that break, I've tried them I know.....

https://www.ebay.com/itm/12Pcs-Un...ObX84b5ozQ

The cheapest ones even similar to these are $5.95 and if you add it up the Lock laces are still cheaper........

https://www.ebay.com/itm/No-Tie-S...ZvGB4eo-hg

And yes I only looked at the "buy it now" items (and searched tieless laces) as I'm not interested in getting into any bidding war with any fake bidders and waiting for over a month to receive something from China, been there done that! Got news for you about how much cost to make stuff also, that little Geo Metro that you paid 20k for probably only cost 5k to make in China also, did that stop you from buying it?

I've got a couple pairs of the knock-off ones from China and they've worked just as well for me. If you can deal with the shipping wait time they're fine and at a fraction of the price.

Hmmm............looks like you might have got me on that one, but whatever I just bought a new pair of shoes yesterday and didn't want to wait a month to get them, maybe I try that next time! LOL!

EDIT: Heck.....you got me curious and I ordered a couple pair for .79 a piece, it will be interesting to see if they are of the same quality!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-Elast...2749.l2649

EDIT #2 - Whats better or not now I still don't know for sure but just got an email saying that they are 20% off now with code "HUSTLE".

Why not just learn to tie your shoes properly? E.g. https://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/secureknot.htm

yeah, HUSTLE sounds about right. LOL

from china, you never know. just gotta wait and see what you get. i've found that small inexpensive things like mounts, batteries, laces, connectors, pens, key rings, tiny flashlights, buttons, cables, etc. doesn't matter much if the quality is only a little less and it doesn't last as long, etc. the price is often only 1/10 of what you find around here at retail. over the years i'm also find the quality of stuff from china to be getting better. 10 years ago it used to be really bad. scared about fires or lead. not so much anymore.
