seems like a decent price after the discount, how many can you add together to make a complete surveillance system?

Does this support ONVIF or POE? That would be needed for nice integration with an external NVR.
I don't see it mentioned in the specifications.

720p is useless past 10 ft. we had 1080p, and now 4mp, which i think is minimum.

Neither, based on Q&A.

Recommend you avoid 720p cameras, they are obsolete.

LeFun - brand is not very well liked by the ipcamtalk members - suspect this is due to compatibility and quality issues.

For just a little more you can find some quality Dahua OEM or Hikvision OEM cameras which are 1080p+ ( well, guess little is relative - perhaps $25 more .. )

Hi Poorgrad,

WIth a lot of the WiFi camera's like this - even tho it looks like it could be PoE camera, they're not.

You could of course use a PoE splitter and bring power to the camera's barrel from a cat5e/6 cable. ( not, I am not certain which you would need, active or passvie in this case )

This is a friendly reminder to use your firewall to block all outbound connections from webcams. Especially no name cheap ones. Some of them phone home, spy, etc.

4mp? Psshh... If you don't have 12mp you might as well be a homeless person pushing around a shopping cart.LMAO

720P is fine for keeping tabs on your house. Just having a camera up will encourage riffraff to move on to another house.

Hi Yakky,

720p is really not that fine when you look at the quality and price differences between 720p options and 1080p options and consider what people will actually end up needing to do with the cameras around their home.

Example, how well do you think a 720p camera would have got this?:

Looks like you're in NoVA based on those window stickers.laugh out loud TBH, at least on Youtube, my D1 (analog) stuff doesn't look that much worse at night, though I have nice CCD Dahua analogs. I'm sure yours looks much better during the day.

I'm not arguing that 1080p or 4k or heck 12 meg cameras won't look better. But a camera is better than no camera at all. What happened before hi-def cameras were invented?

My point is, its really easy to spend someone else's money, especially if you can't offer a better alternative at the same price point.

LOL, I think I've listed plenty of alternatives recently

Such as this one for indoors:
