Re: Only 1 coupon can attach per item.

Every week people will ask variations of this:
"The rebate is limit 4. So can I buy all 4 in one transaction, using the coupon once, or by using it 4 times, or not?"

Answer:
If you want to buy more than one of any specific item using its specific coupon, do so in separate transactions using the coupon each time, purchasing one of the item. Some stores and or personnel will not allow this in the same trip (coupon Nazi's). So don't be a jerk if denied.
Coupon small print has grounds for them denying you. Limit one coupon per customer.

If you do not split the transactions, the coupon will be divided out between all of the specific items which it applies to.

e.g. A coupon states $9.99 after coupon and easy rebate. Using math or paying attention as it is scanned, you determine the coupon takes $5 off. You want 2 because the rebate limit is 2. You want to pay the lowest price possible for each. Duh.

If you purchase both in the same transaction, and they scan in the coupon, you only get $5 total off. NOT $5 off of each item.
Any subsequent attempts to use the coupon again in the same transaction will be blocked by the system, stating no qualifying items were purchased. That one coupon got applied to each item and divided out between them.

It used to be that you could have the same (or several print outs of the same) coupon scanned in one transaction for purchasing multiples of qualifying items. #goodolddays

Are there any working coupons for the case or a $20 off $75 that works or something?

New coupons will be released on Sunday, but doubtful that a coupon for the case will be released. No, basically nonspecific coupons no longer work on paper deals with rebates.

Half cases are $1 after coupon code 27963 and rebate.

513096 Cases are $9.99 after coupon code 76385 and rebate. Rebate is $38 for in-store purchases.

Question :

- Staples full case (#513096): $57.99 - 42 ER = $15.99 (limit 2), (online Only) NOTE: Product purchase price must be greater than $46.99

I have $25 off $75 for online use. If I use that and buy 2 cases online, would it affect the rebate as it says "Product purchase price must be greater than $46.99"???

Yes it would affect it. However coupon won't apply since they have rebates anyway.

I've been using the Staples 1¢ and $1 AC & ER paper deals for years. Throughout the year, I donate the paper to my kids' school and they're always really appreciative. Using the coupons, rebates, Staples rewards & credit card rewards, I pay practically nothing. So, curious if anyone knows why Staples offer these types of deals ... How do they make money off of these deals or is the answer is that they don't? Is it just a loss leader to get you into the store?

A ridiculous amount of people forget to fill out the rebate... That and and to get you in the store like you said. The vast majority of SD'ers do not fall into that category.

They make way more on paper...

When a box is sold for $57.99 its counts towards sell for that store.

when you claim rebate that count towards (Corp. Marketing Expenses) and tax code allows them to write off which is lots of money. They want people to file rebate so they can make more money.

Many folks do not file the rebate or forget to follow up except Sd'ers who won't sleep until its filed and receive the card back in mail.

Expenses are the cost of doing business. Therefore, Staples doesn't make more money if more people filed for the rebates. Staples could only use the incurred expenses of marketing to reduce profit and pay less taxes.
