I've been camping and waiting for these to drop in price. Final cost is 169.98 + tax, pick up in store required. Original price $220

You really need to exercise your legs too. Since it is typically stronger muscles, I recommend buying an additional four sets. Two for each leg.

This is a little better than the normal sale price, but it has been as low as $150. Even at $220, this set is worth it. The bar isn't as good as my other ones, but it works fine. I keep it in my power rack and use it a lot for benching and squats, exceeding the weight limit without issue. The 45s are smaller than standard plates, putting you at a deficit for floor pulls unless you mix them with standard plates.

Easily a great deal, especially if you have no weights to begin with. Only thing I'd suggest is to upgrade your bar with even something off craigslist from those cheapo chrome bars. I have one of those cheapo chrome bars, but never use it for lifts that require a good grip (cleans, deadlifts, etc.) or a good grip on my back when I'm squatting.

Great starter set for novice. The 45s have a smaller diameter compared to every other Oly 45. This only makes a difference when you are Deadlifting or performing a Yates Row. Essential it creates a small deficit in the movements. I second the recommendation to grab a nicer bar off of Craigslist.
