Kasa and TP link plugs - Can this work if 2 people using same Aamzon acct but at 2 houses?

My mom has 3 TP link plugs at her house that she uses hooked up to lights.

I want to borrow one of those plugs for a few days at my house so that I can put a timer on one of my lights.

Can I do that? I have a feeling that all plugs must use the same wifi and you can't put one on one wifi and the other 2 on another when both people are sharing the same Amazon acct. Is that correct?

I thought, wth, maybe someone knows of a work-around????

According to the TP-Link forums, yes, this can be done.

Just in case it can't be done a possible solution would be the App Cloner application in the Google Play Store.

Thanks. I think I got it working. I just did the cloning app and made another acct. That was easy. Thanks for the suggestion of using the cloning app. I didn't know such a thing existed.
