Hello, I hope you are doing well.

This is my first time posting a class action settlement rebate thread, so I may edit this thread heavily, as needed. I'm only including the more vital information, as the claim form link has more details; I'll also add some information to the Wikipost so this original post isn't too cluttered.

Update (01/12/2018): A similar thread was posted on 07/03/2017, so if you filled that one out, you may not have to do this one, but I am not positive. A user in this thread stated that the form is different, and another user stated that he or she filled both forms and received the same case number.

Class Eligibility
You are a member of the Class if you purchased within the United States, including the District of Columbia and all U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands, at least one of the "Covered Products" from May 7, 2007 through June 13, 2017 for household use and not for resale.

Covered Products
There are 174 different products; please see claim form link for the full listing.

Estimated Amount: Up to $50
Without proof of purchase you may request $2.50 per product up to $50. With proof of purchase you may make unlimited requests. Please remember that the admin may have to adjust the distribution in a pro rata model if the number of valid claims exceed the pool available for payments

Proof of Purchase required? No

Claim Form: http://www.aveenoactivenaturalsse...it_a_claim

Deadline: 02/04/2018

I hope this helps,

Case Name
Goldemberg v. Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc.
Case No. 7:13-cv-3073-NSR-LMS
United States District Court for the Southern District of New York

Case Summary
A proposed settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit about the advertising of some of Johnson & Johnson's Aveeno Active Naturals Products. The Plaintiffs in the lawsuit claim that Johnson & Johnson made misstatements about its Aveeno Active Naturals Products by describing certain Aveeno Active Naturals Products as "natural" or "Active Naturals."
Johnson & Johnson has filed answers denying all of Plaintiffs' claims and strongly denies all allegations of wrongdoing, fault, liability, or damage of any kind to Plaintiffs or the Settlement Class, denies that it acted improperly or wrongfully in any way, and is entering into this settlement to avoid burdensome and costly litigation. The settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing.

Settlement Pool
$6,750,000

No problem. These things are hardly worth it. Only people getting payoffs are the lawyers.

You should still be able to file for $50 without receipts. I suppose that's better than nothing.

I swear I signed up for this settlement mid-ish last year when it was posted here. Is there another for a new time period?

well im just concerned w/ the # of people filing. you feel like u almost have to artificially inflate it to ensure u get ur money.... not that i would do that.

While you are correct, there will be plenty of people claiming "yeah, that's what I thought until I got a $1673.54 settlement check from buying a pack of gum that lost its flavor after 28 minutes when the pack said it would hold its flavor for 30 minutes".
