Good for older cars without a headphone jack, otherwise audio quality is pretty awful comparatively

Another use for these is dealing with the lack of headphone jack on new iPhones. Connect the phone to this unit with Bluetooth, connect this unit to the car with FM, or, preferably, the aux out. Then use the USB port to charge your phone and play music simultaneously with only one 12V cigarette lighter outlet.

I have the Lefun brand exact version of this and it sounds amazing.

Thanks. Company car doesn't have AUX input and there's no easy way to install it.

I also have the LeFun branded one. This was the only one of several BT-FM transmitters that I wasted money on which had a microphone worth mentioning (for phone calls) - still wasn't great, but at least people understood me.

Unfortunately the wires on the gooseneck must've been just long enough to work if you didn't bend it too much. It stopped working less than six months after getting it. I gave up on these things for anything but playing audio.

Got the Jabra Xtreme that was posted here some weeks back & it's been fantastic for phone calls. The ear loop starts to hurt after a while, but I don't need to talk on the phone that long, so I just take it off when I'm done & turn it off since it pairs very quickly when I need to answer a call.

If you want to do the same, just go into Bluetooth settings and disable phone calls (& contact sharing if you're paranoid) for this device. Do the opposite for the Bluetooth earpiece. Works a treat.

If I want to spend $20 or $25, is there a much better version that will hold up for 2-3 years? If not I can buy 2.

Does this have AUX out? So basically it would be a way to add bluetooth to my car since I have a headphone jack and don't need or want the FM transmitter function

I had this. Very poor quality. Lots of static. Not clear at all. I would steer clear. Would not buy even if it was much cheaper.

I would have to agree with the audio quality. It sucks. Bought it a while back and never use it because of the sound quality.

If you have an AUX input, you're much better off going with something like the SoundBot: https://www.amazon.com/SoundBot-S...00RH29CJO/

It plugs directly into your AUX for better sound and powers on/pairs as soon as there's power.

My S7 won't sync with the BT receiver in my car. Will this be a way to get around that problem?
