just an FYI I would take best buy reviews with a grain of salt considering the majority are left for BB reward points. The short sentence or two reviews are typically just left quickly for points, more indepth reviews are more honest.

Lol how many points do they get for reviewing stuff? They're basically worthless. Can't see writing a review for less than 20 points.

Does anyone know how this compares to the HP 5660 that was posted here for $30 a couple of days ago? I bought that one but am wondering if this is a better printer to grab.

Any idea if this works with 15 pages free?

Best Buy says no in "Note 2" next to "Free" [source [bestbuy.com]]:
Quote :
Select printers with a regular or Was price of $99.99 or less are eligible.
And HP's terms aren't clear [source [hpconnected.com]]:
Quote :
Availability. The 15-Free Program is available only on select printer models ("Eligible Printers"). A current list of Eligible Printers is available at http://www.hpinstantink.com/freeplaninfo.
When you go to that link, it just redirects you to the regular Instant Ink page [hpconnected.com], and shows you all compatible printers, with a note attached to the free plan, which brings you back to the terms... it's a circular reference.

The sheetfeeder and duplexer are well worth the $20 imho

It's a service that sends you ink when you run low. Not sure if the pricing is competitive with Best Buy/Staples etc.

The 7643 has a fax.

Same reasons I passed on the 5660 from yesterday. This one also has a fax if you are into that. It doesn't have the free refill card, but many people posted links in the original 5660 thread to get three free months on HP's website.

Got my mom the 7645 for x-mas and just set it up last night. We were very happy with the borderless printing and the phone app allowing her to easily print her Facebook photos. Just picked this up to replace my old 5 series HP. Thanks!

I price matched mine from the other deal. Staples gives 110% price match. I got mine for 23.99 instead of $30 and also used a $20 ink reward. There may be a price match for this. Its worth checking out ...I think many forget this in the heat of a SD
