Snagged one, I hope this thing works good. I plan to use this like an umbrella for me, my wife and 3 kids... somewhere to cool off and eat lunch. Rest of the time we'll be on the beach.

I have a couple of these from last summers deals. These aren't "quick-up" but only take a couple minutes to set-up with the two poles. These work well for (2) people to sit in and use to watch kids outdoor sports etc. Only down side is that they aren't real tall so, if you are taller and using a foldable directors chair then they might not be tall enough for you to sit under. Lower profile chairs work fine though.

How heavy is this? Is it worth it to lug this on a trip to Hawaii? Most beaches don't have much shades to protect the young ones.

Only downfall I see is no floor. We use our sun shade primarily for the beach and it's nice to keep the sand out of the area where we keep the food, towels, etc.

I have one of these already, great price. They hold up in the wind better than I thought they would. I pitch mine in front of my 2 man tent. Easy setup for lunch canopy on my motorcycle trips if needed....

Would this work well in a stadium to watch Track and Field and football games to protect from sun and rain? TIA
