American and United Airlines both have round trip airfares travelling to and from Chicago (ORD) and Washington DC / Baltimore (BWI) for $88, nonstop. These are the basic economy fares though. Basic Economy fare limits carry-on bags to one small personal item, such as a purse or laptop bag. All other baggage must be checked for a fee.

Travel Availability:
Departs ORD: Jan 17, 20, 24, 27, 30, 31; Feb 3, 6, 13, 27
Return:Jan 23, 24, 27, 30, 31; Feb 6, 7, 10, 13, 20, 27, 28; March 6, 7

Departs BWI: Jan 17, 31
Returns: Jan 20, 24, 27, 30, 31; Feb 3, 6, 7, 13, 14

Use dates and book it on Priceline [priceline.com] or Expedia [expedia.com] to see which airline comes up for you. Pick the one best fits your schedule. Bundling hotel with airfare will save money.

Perfect if you're going to Baltimore. You won't have any need for additional bags in any event....

Personally I prefer the Adventure Package between St. Louis and Baltimore for $35 round trip.
