Only a matter of time before these paid memberships drop these dues to shop there.

Idk how BJs isn't $10 a year tops. It's the only warehouse store in my area and it's god awful. Prices are higher than local grocery stores most of the time.

Unlikely for Costco as that's where most of their profit comes from.

Really you realize they have monthly coupons ( that you can now load digitally to your membership ) and they also accept manufacturer coupons or coupons from coupons.com on top of those . BJ is usually cheaper than Costco 9/10 . I still shop Costco too

On my free trial membership I would stop in and pick up 2 or 3 items every week or two and they insist that I stand in line a second time so that their security can check my receipt after I already stood in line to pay.

No supermarket I've been to does that. Gives me the creeps.

I love our BJs in Conyers, GA. They're always friendly and much less creepy than the weirdos at the grocery store.

Every club store does this. Costco, Sam's club, BJs. It's par for the course

Wait... How do we load coupons electronically? Their system of coupons are ancient and it's a pain in the butt to have to cut out coupons and bring them to the store. Have they eliminated that? Is this a beta program

From the BJ's app and it's new ( not sure how long I have been using it for 2 months) . And I agree it's much better and easier to preload digital coupons and they even have a clipped/ redeem tab so you can keep up . Plus this means you can double up on items with the paper/book coupons . Also there seems to be some bonus coupons for.50 to a $1.00 extra In the app so another reason to use it

Be careful though...BJ's package sizes are usually significantly smaller than Costco. Sometimes the price may be 'lower', especially when using a coupon, but the quantity of product you receive is also much less. Example, when Pur Fitlers go on sale, both Costco and BJ's have them for $40. However, the BJ's package only has 5 filters, while the Costco pack has 7. Even if I use a Pur manufacturers coupon at BJ's, it still works out to be 'more'.

There are good deals to be had once in a while, just something to be aware of (I like the deli at BJ's and IMO, their fresh bagels are better).

It depends on the items sometimes it varies between the 2 but in general BJ's is usually cheaper with double coupons ( even single coupons) . I still shop Costco also because they will carry things that BJ's doesn't and vice versa.
