Probably because the average DIY'er doesn't need fast charge when they have a few batteries around and probably a couple chargers since every time we buy a "kit" it comes with more batteries and charges.. For the pro, it's a halfway decent deal, but IMO nothing spectacular.

I'd buy of there was a battery only deal. Flexvolt kits already have fast chargers.

Agree I would be all over this but I don't need any more batteries. Got 5 of these ones already

For the 20v batteries I would agree, but with the Flexvolt batteries, especially the 9Ah, you really need the fast charger. Even my 6Ah Flexvolt takes absolutely forever in a standard charger. I have the Flexvolt 120v miter saw and the 60v table saw. The faster it charges, the better.

Great deal thanks OP. I bought two sets, for the batteries. I've sold a few spare fast chargers in previous deals that I didn't need, they go for $35-$40 on eBay easy. I'll sell these also and end up with the battery for $78-$83 a piece. Way better than the usual $199 2pk price that it never budges off of.

I just don't see the point of the cordless table and miter saws for DIY'ers. For working pro's in the field, they can be great, but for us home tinkerers, not getting really getting it. But, yeah I guess I can see why the quick charge is needed in that case.

I needed a miter and table saw anyway though. At the price I ended up paying for the miter, it was a no brainer. But having a corded and cordless saw at this price is excellent. I also got the table saw as a floor model at HD for 199. I wouldn't have paid retail for either, but at discount they're super convenient. I was worried about power but it's not an issue at all. Plenty of power. I also have the Flexvolt circular saw and it's a monster.

All those battery hours sound great...(until 30 minutes in when your arm is burnt out from holding up all those batteries ?)

Tempted but prefer a few smaller lighter packs for my 20V tools

I picked one up for the flexvolt chainsaw - it'll probably also see use on the 1/2" impact gun, but my normal drill and normal and impact driver will keep using the little 20v batteries.
