Looks good. There is a 15% off coupon on the page too. Will it stack?

Can anyone explain why these (I have the Maverick brand set) sometimes read HHH (high) and LLL (low) when the temp is obviously 225 by a reading from another probe?

I've read that it's likely a bad probe.

Mine showed LLL last night and I think it's just because the probe was a bit off. I unplugged and replugged it and it was better. If it matters, it was also right after I replaced the battery.

If probe is inserted wrong, or got wet since last time you used it you'll get that. Reseat or dry it.

I purchased a set of these a few months ago, and can verify that the range is very good. Compared to a set of Maverick 732 lots of signal loss at about 60 feet through the walls etc., have zero issues with this brand/model. One thing I must say, the screen is terrible. Unreadable unless you position it just right. Also, the probes are some what off, by as much as 10 degrees up or down. Need to compare to known good probes and regulate accordingly.

Forgot to mention the probes wires are pretty long, 5 ft plus. May or may not be a positive, depending on how your needs are.

Same concept just fewer features. This one has only one probe, one wireless channel, and only displays temp on the receiver unit. If you like to park the receiver in one place but go out to check your cook, it's sometimes helpful to have a temp on the remote unit (transmitter) as well. If you're just using it to temp meat, then one probe will work. If you smoke (BBQ) being able to monitor both the smoker and the meat temps separately is huge.

Pretty sure that you will like the range of this unit compared to any Bluetooth device. Very strong. However, I must warn you the quality of Maverick is pretty solid compared to this one.
