Just tried to purchase, code not working. Looking for some good cheap shades for the tackle box.

EDIT: Code works for Black frames. Thanks!

Looking at OPs posting history, pretty much everything you post is for cheap Chinese no-brand items with a promo codes... If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, might just be a...shill/paid post?

nothing wrong with that, so long as the pruduct does not look like a pile of warm excrement.

reviewers pathetic photos tell the whole story . . . warm pile indeed.

Nothing wrong with someone getting paid to post a bunch of junk, thereby using their rep points (and the mass of paid persons that add TU) to persuade people it's a good deal? How's that work, seriously, because for me it makes the whole site useless. I have to sort through and do research on everything to make sure it's a real deal, because you can no longer trust users (like we could years ago) based an their reps and integrity. pretty much ALL of the cheap Chinese deals can be found any day of the week for these prices... they are not deals. and that's not a problem?

you sound like you have a issue with only cheap chinese deals. and you are delusional if you think that sd did not have sales folks here, even sd sell crap here with partnership with other unrepeatable vendors. the point is that crap can come from any place and that users can not be trusted on here or on amazon because users can be purchased.

that is why for starters you have fakespot and amazon return policy. you also have folks that will give it bad rev, something that no one can cover regardless of how many positive fakes are generated.

I do have an issue with cheap Chinese deals that get fake promoted as being legit values. I have a problem with any junk deal (from any country) that is managed that way. Of course, if it's a piece of junk from a legitimate company, at least you have some sort of recourse.
And, I do realize the SD staff has become a bunch of paid promoters, too. The worst part is, that so many in the community don't get that...they think because it's staff, or the person has a rep over 1k, they are gods, and you shall not dare disparage them. I just looked at a SD staff members recent postings, and the bulk majority are junk. I guess I'm just venting...and I know I'm not alone.
What's crazy is I've had people contact me asking (in very broken English) to promote products, either posting, commenting or just doing TU. They pay between $3-5 for just a simple TU...crazy, right? And they say they got my contact info from SD. Crazy. I have no way of proving someone at SD gave or sold my contact info...idk, its just become such a shill site, it's sad. It used to happen in the past (junk posts), but before the user community starting getting paid they would trash the junk and make sure it never survived to make it to the popular deals thread.
Oh well...its a business, and they can run it however they want. I just know there are a lot of people that come here under the false belief that they can trust the users here, that they can trust the staff, and that they are getting a good value.
As for Amazon return...yes, that's great protection. But, its still a hassle. Doesn't it suck when you get fooled into buying something, get all excited, and then have to deal with the junk you receive? And, for electronics, the stuff may work for a month or two then fail...beyond return window. And, regardless, SD makes there click through. Also, on cheap items, you'll read all the time on Amazon how the person didn't feel like it was worth the hassle to bother returning the junk (I don't get that, but I read those reviews all the time).
Anyways, rant over! Smilie

you are all over the place with you rant.

first, not all cheap chinese stuff is trash. on the contrary i am sporting my $8 bluetooth headphones for couple of years now (gym, rain, snow, sweat), best bluetooth for the price. and it had a year warranty. sold by amazon and warranty enforced by amazon. the headphones and many other items that i have purchased have served very well for me. so just as you can buy american made trash you can do same with chinese.

second, yes sd get's payed and yes its a big conflict of interest. some post make it to the front page just after couple reviews. but then again i have posted some deals and they got to the front page just after couple dozen reviews, so who knows. back to the sd conflict of interest, one can always bypass deals that look too read to be true, or bypass the whole site all together.

i do not see any problem or hassle returning the stuff that did not meet my expectation, i would do same if it was walmart or any other place, the nice thing with amazon is that they pay for the shipping both direction.

as to the "fake promos", this is not new. this method of promotion has been used for a very long time in amarica. it's just now more noticeable because everyone has access to information. in the old days celebrates got paid to do the "fake promos", now everyone with a substantial audience or access to one can do it.
