I went to register mine today and noticed price change.
Be prepared to fresh re-install Windows on this laptop. Mine was not able to wake up from hibernate and was not able to reboot after first Windows Update. After fresh re-install can reboot, did not figured out wake up from hibernate yet. There are discussions in EVGA support forums about these issues.

FYI, backpack not available anymore.

Not sure about hot, I was able to keep laptop on my lap while playing. Did not checked is GPU throttling down after a bit or not.

Played Dying light, ambient temps around ~70F and temps were in the mid 70s. Using a cooling pad, temps were in the low 70s.

In the summer, it will definitely get hotter but its not bad for now.

Current desktop 1070s alone are almost as expensive.

Don't give anyone any ideas, or we won't get any laptops either.

Anyone know what the warranty is on this? Can't see any info on it... The Lenovo I bought a bit over a year ago just had the hinges/screen break when it was just out of 1 year warranty and they won't touch it. Hoping for a 2-4 year warranty or extended option.

I know many people got these last time. So I expect lots of reviews on this thread! Wish the gtx1080 was on sale for $1800!

Credit card adds another year, so 3 years total.

Just bought it. Didn't see an option for extended warranty. Best of luck

How long did this deal last when it was previously on sale? I was planning on getting a gaming laptop with tax refund but probably at least a month before I get that.

I doubt it will be on sale that long but figured I'd ask.
