It is a good price for everything included, assuming you need everything included. If you are starting off with a beard, or gifting it to someone with a beard that is not currently doing any form of care of it, this is a great price.

I prefer a double-sided comb, and just buy/mix my own oils for ~1.50 and ounce. The balm is a little more work to make yourself, as you need to melt wax and shea butter together. Plus, essential oils for scent cost extra initially. I would definitely recommend starting with something like this, then exploring what you like and dis-like to refine your purchases in the future.

I have used the comb and the oil.
Bought in a set for like 12$ a while back.

Nicely packaged in a little tin, the comb seems fine and the oil smells nice. I'd add to be careful with the oil, as applying too much gave me some acne around my beard line.

I've got it for the same price last week and am definitely satisfied with the product especially for the price. My beard feel fuller but not like the more expensive products. I'd recommend this and I'd would probably buy it again. Packaging was nice as well.

Bought this last time it popped up a few weeks ago. Smells great, oil coats my beard nicely, balm held my beard still all day, and the comb is a decent little comb to leave in the car or backpack.

Seconded.

The oil really doesn't have a scent, but the balm has a lighter smell to it. A little sweeter than baby powder. It takes a few applications to get used to it.

I bought this last week as well. Today is the first time I used it, so far it seems good. The oil my wife makes for me has a better fragrance but it cost a bit more to make and I wanted to try the balm. I did not use the comb as I prefer the brush (I do not have a long beard just full).

All in all I feel it is a good purchase, if for nothing else but to be able to try other products, I am some what new to the whole treating the beard thing, I used to think it was not very manly to preen (yes I used the word preen) over my beard but the wife asked me to keep it less mountain man and more clean looking so I gave it a try, I am glad I did as it does feel and look a lot better with brushing and oils.

Also bought last week. I'm pretty neutral on the oil smell. Really like the smell of the balm though. Overall well worth the cash

There are tons of options, and every oil seems to have it's own special attributes...although I do not know how much I buy into that.

I have settled in on equal parts Jojoba, Argan, sweet almond, and fractionated coconut oil for my beard oil. Add a few drops of essential oil per ounce of beard oil to get whatever scent you prefer. I use cedar, frankincense, and a little patchouli for my daily stuff.
