Really, for boy??? Those kind of attitudes contribute to the lack of girls going into STEM fields.

Why dont you go get a science degree like jessa jones or learn programming. If your put off by a label you probably weren't that serious in the first place.

Some of the other sets by this company also say for boy. I think they added that for search value. It's silly but obviously any gender can buy and enjoy. I wouldnt let it discourage me from buying..these sets from any company are great for teaching technology and other brands can cost much more.

What exactly is customizable about this kit, the physical design, or the actual functionality of the tank or RC? Is this at all programmable?

Let's hope that the STEM futures of girl participants don't hedge on Chinese toy ad copy writers.

Found the snowflake.

Actually I just read it again...
"For Boy Gift - For kids who love to assemble toy, this RC building tank would be the best Christmas gifts and the birthday gifts for boys or girls. You can not only build a tank, but also remote control you tank."

Plus if you actually read it, it sounds like a terrible translation.
So hate the Asian country that probably made it. They don't give a shit about STEM, they care about money.

I was wondering the same. So far feels like you can customize the leggo design, but the remove is connected to a receiver that runs a set of gears for the wheels (front/back & left/right) at least that's what it looks like looking at different models they have for sale.

People need to realize this happens your entire life to every person on earth. At various points in everyone's life they will be offended by something or someone. I sight a few examples, typically, when having a child, they are covered in pink or blue. As they grow, a lot of preschools will not accept children unless they are potty trained. Most are not permitted to attend kindergarten until the age of 5. Drivers license at 16 or there after, discounts for certain ages. Social security after age 62 or 65. Not to mention race, ethnicity, sexual preference, medical treatment, or religion. Enough already, equality for every person in the world is a stretch goal.

If the objective is to not get offended, you might want to consider not using Internet, social media, cell phones, tv, electricity, plumbing, going to a doctor, also known as, uninhabitable environments, otherwise known as death. Haha, good luck with that.

Because if you did we'd expect that you're educated enough to read the full description and realize that the translation is subpar and mentions girls as well.
