The impressive part about Dunkirk (the story) were the 330,000 soldiers who were saved. Wouldn't know it from the movie - absent the dialogue - because you never saw more than around 10k soldiers in the largest shot. From watching the movie (absent one comment from Kenneth Branagh), you would have thought a few thousand were saved by a few dozen boats.

Needed some Michael Bay, don't you think?

Great price on Dunkirk.

At this point I'm only buying the 4K versions unless the Blu Ray version is half as cheap. Lot of these titles were 10-15 for UHD equivalent during when they have their sale time.

Yeah, I had high expectations but was very disappointed and quit after watching half. So many basic mistakes...

You really must watched it at a bad theater. That was a great experience along with amazing score.

Same. I expected action but it feel like a short story drag out too long.

Dunkirk was an experience in IMAX, but I don't know if I can watch it again on a home theater.

Great cinematic experience, and fitting minimal score, but not Zimmer's best by far.

I had extremely high expectations due to others gushing over it; but overall the whole thing didn't blow me away, either.
