Hello. I see you included the url as your title.
A better title may be something like:

R-4B Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer $149 at Klipsch, FS (it looks like free shipping?)

HDMI with ARC is the way to go, don't go backwards. Optical out comes with all soundbars even the one with HDMI.
Take a look at Yamaha YAS -107 as example

Yamaha is 180 and no sub. For that I'll just use optical and enjoy the cheap awesome sounding klipsch

so I was looking again on amazon for other subs, and I ran across a 5000w sub that looks like a killer deal, only thing is that it is a paper cone sub so i would need to make sure it is safe because there is issues with paper subs. I know that paper is a tree cut into small tiny amounts and that if i was to use that as material for a subwoofer it may cause an issue with the logenvity of using the items that were not the best, so I was thinking that you are able to determine which side that has the best items that are not only easy to use but they are the best thing you would be able to get.

What are you talking about and what does it have to do with a optical input?

I'm no expert, and I just started to learn that Optical is limited. A receiver or a soundbar with an HDMI pass-through is ideal, from what I've been reading. I have an older Panasonic TV and I use an optical cable with my soundbar, and I am limited to stereo. Because my old TV only delivers stereo through Optical, which makes no sense. Seems overkill for the optical cable. Anyway, still sounds like a good deal for a quality soundbar if HDMI is not important. Thanks for posting.

it says it is not compatible with HDR. What does that mean? I have hdr turned on my tv, does that mean it wont play sound thru it?

It doesn't have hdmi so it can't support it. It would be a pass through if it did have hdmi. HDR does nothing to audio

Read the posts till the end and you will hopefully get some insights.
Yamaha YAS 107 (Costco version 1070 with DTS:X) was only $129.99 a month back.

He was making a funny. However paper cones, and the difference between HDMI audio and optical audio are like comparing apples and oranges. And while I don't disagree that HDMI is better. All I can say is optical is on my tv. I plug the soundbar in and forget about it. Don't need a HDMI hub to plug different inputs. In closing. This is still a slick deal I can bet that the klipsch will sound better optical than the Yamaha with HDMI.
