Wish it was the 8th gen. But still a solid deal for the specs. Usually anything with 16gb ram and 512ssd in a laptop is high priced along with a dedicated card even though its on the lowend side

I have the flex 3 and I got it refurbished with a 1 year warranty at ebay as well. excellent laptop, most entry level laptops don't come with 1080p screens, much less with 16gb and a ssd. if you are in the market for a laptop get it hands down.

Considering similarly specc'ed New with 1 year warranty was recently sold for $700, this Refurb with 3 month warranty seems pricey. Yes, the GPUs are different but both of them (GPUs) are equally bad.

Is the 3-cells battery good to last 10 hours as stated?
Amazon review said it's about 5-6 hours only.

i5-8250U should be appreciably (~1.5times!) faster than i7-7500U, if you are utilizing all cores (quad core vs dual dual core). Given a choice, I would go for the 8th generation as more and more applications utilizing multiple cores...

Discrete graphics does eat up lot of power. And battery life depends on what you do, you can drain any laptop battery in 1.5-2 hrs, unless it throttled itself down to crawl, like some thin and fashion laptops do.
