No mention of usb 3.0 or quickcharge compatible. Think I'd look to spend a little more on cables that support those.

USB 3.0 on a micro USB is a completely different connector, and I don't think any of the Qualcomm QC phones have that plug.

Umm no it's not..my T-Mobile V10 does quickcharge 2.0 on a microusb connector...the only difference is you pretty much have to have a usb 3.0 connection so it can handle the higher voltage quickcharge requires to charge (9 volts for quickcharge 2.0 I think) vs the 5 volts usb 2.0 can handle.

You need to go back and do some more reading. With all due respect, you are incorrect on the facts. USB 3.0 and QuickCharge voltage are completely unrelated and not dependent.

Given that you just swore no quickcharge phones came on microusb perhaps I'm not the only one.

On this page a user indicates his lenova laptop provides 2.4ah for charging devices via it's usb 3.0 ports. It also mentions that 500ma is the MAX for usb 2.0 period where 900ma is the max a device can request on it's own but not the max a port can provide since it may be hooked up to a hub and be charging multiple devices.

https://superuser.com/questions/6...a-usb-port

Finally, I never claimed USB 3.0 and quick charge were dependent on each other. I stated folks would be better off buying cords that supported those features to future proof them over these older outdated cables. I did however say quick charge and voltage when I should have said amps since usb 3.0 ports can do "fast charging" ie 2.4ah instead of 500ma. The 5v/9v/12v is strictly for the convention used by chargers for quickcharge 2.0 as documented by the first link I posted.

Somebody else want to take this one? I can not help this poor soul. Also, I never said there are no phones with micro USB that support QC. I said micro USB 3.0 is a different connector than this. The Lenovo laptop is an implementation of the USB power spec, not an edict to the standard's limitations.

From a quick browse of your other posts it's questionable whether you would be able to help anyone other than on the topics of game hardware/video games. In any case I have no more time to waste on your ramblings and they've gotten way off topic for the thread. Moving on and added you to ignore since I don't think I'll ever regret doing that...feel free to vent until you feel better.

I am rambling way off topic? OK. Good luck with finding a micro USB cable with USB 3.0 to charge your V10.

Cheers!
