The deal expired on January 27.
You need to take the modem and bring it to customer service to get adjusted.

I do not recommend getting this if your cable provider is xfinity. Xfinity cant help you out with your problem at all with this modem since it's very new to them still. So hardly any firmware update. Also their warranty is only 3months. Meanwhile Arris has a 2 year warranty. The CM1000 modem broke 9 months after I bought it. Signal started to deteriorate. Basically 150$ down the drain. End up spending just as much buying SB8200. Too bad Arris doesn't have power button like NetGear does.

I think we still have 6 more days for Jan 27 and the deal is not expired. You need to price match to target.com then apply cartwheel. If you have REDcard it makes it easier.

Looks like these are mere luck as I had exact opposite experience but as you mentioned Arris has 2yr warranty but I struggled to get a replacement and will take weeks get another modem so ended up returning to store for a store credit. So far Netgear seems to stable.

Thumbs up and thanks for tipping us to this great deal. Wound up finding one at my closest Houston Target prior to the Cartwheel's coupon expiration and the electronics dept. associate price matched it to the $161.99 online price from the shelf price of $179.99 AND then applied the Cartwheel discount bar code. Subtotal before sales tax was $129.59.
So got a future-proof (non-Puma) Docsis 3.1 modem for $50 cheaper than I could find anywhere else either local or online.
Speed tests on Comcast so far are ~300 mbps or 20-25% higher than my old overprovisioned 8x4 cable modem. So for about $50 more than a 3.0 modem I'm now set for when I'm ready to budget and pull the trigger on the now available 1 Gig service Comcast has rolled out here.

Found the modem but the store was unwilling to both price match online and let us use Cartwheel. Great deal for those that could get it though.

UPDATE, for those that couldn't get this modem with the pricematch/cartwheel deal, Target.com has it on sale for 146 today. Not as slick as the above deal but the available best price otherwise.
