might put "lithium" in the title as these are far better than the old SLA type

not sure if the price is good but the value is better

problem is battery quality with a no-name brand

cannot trust amazon reviews because sellers are allowed to delete any review

Didn't realize amazon sellers can delete any reviews... on fakespot, it scores a B, so figured it must have at least some honest reviews. I added Lithium to the title then too.

I have 2 GOOLOO jump starters. Very good quality plus I really like their smart clamps.

I had one from this brand company. Battery would not charge no matter what after trying for days. It actually discharged while plugged in from originally receiving it.

Gave up and returned it. Eventually bought the NOCO GB40 Ultrasafe brand model one and worked well. Reviews are stellar and numerous. Feels well built, and intuitive to use.

Waiting on another for the other cars. The cases available are perfect for it as well. Many to choose from. All fit the beefy clamps and charge accessories with it, along with manual.

How do these type of devices hold up in cold and hot weather. I would want to leave this in the vehicle at all times. I'm assuming the wather will be bad for the battery.

I can't speak for this specific brand as I never tried it before, but these type of devices usually work fine in cold and warm weather. My last one (different brand) was kept in my Jeep year round and would usually be good for a jump for over four months at a time(although I'm sure this is reduced in extreme cold).

I found that the biggest thing is not trying the ignition too many times too quickly. If it doesn't start, you've got to wait at least 30 seconds before attempting it again. I fried my last cable by doing too many starts too quickly... hence my need for a new one! Hoping this one holds up to the majority of reviews.

I have one but a different brand. It has held up okay while keeping in the car. I do bring it in once in couple of months to ensure it is fully charged.

I've been carrying two of the Everstart models from the Walmart clearance two years ago. I think they were around 9 bucks each. These things hold a charge for a long time and work really well. I've jumped lots of different vehicles with these from ATVs to trucks. I did have a situation where it took both units in parallel to start an F150 from a completely dead state in subzero temps. As long as temps are above 20 degrees one of these should get the job done on most vehicles. These can be a little tricky to use if you're not an instruction reader.

I don't personally own this brand of lithium jump starter, but I do own another brand that looks just like this one. I can't believe these things work, but they do and work so much better than the lead acid one I had previously.

Sellers can flag "inappropriate" reviews for amazon to review and possibly remove. Sellers can't simply delete any review as you say.

I am with you though on trusting unknown names such as this. As always, read reviews carefully and disregard reviews that seem even the least bit bogus. I usually read all 1 or 2 star reviews first and then read the rest.
