Don't use cartridge razors. Switch to safety razor. Less irritating, cheaper, and closer shave Smilie.

It's funny you say that. I bought some one EBay once and they jacked my face up. You may be on to something.

It seems hard to convince people to switch from a 5-blade fusion to a single blade safety razor, but seriously if you're considering this 2-blade cartridge, you should definitely try a single blade razor. Instead of paying for this, consider:

Edwin Jagger Double Edge Safety Razor [amazon.com]
$27.34

Double Edge Safety Blade Variety Pack- 120 Blades [amazon.com]
$20.98

I have to go over my face like every times with a multi-blade razor. Are you saying that a single blade will be as efficient?

If efficiency to you is time saved, then no.. but if efficiency means getting better quality of shave, for quarter of $/shave, then yes. Typically, with single blade safety razors it take 3 passes to complete a shave. If you're in a hurry, you can get away with 2 passes. 1st pass with the grain, 2nd pass across the grain and 3rd pass against the grain. And the best part is, you're not stuck with 2 or 3 brands like Gillette and schick, there are probably over 100 different brands of safety razor blades you can try and see which fits your face best. And you can use a fresh blade for every shave because they literally cost like 15 cents a blade.. but my feather blades last me 3 shaves easily.

This is where I learned how to:

Yes! I bought some Mach 3's there years ago and noticed right away with first use. Tossed all 12. Never bought again from eBay.

I also like Personna double blade disposables from big lots. 10 cents per disposable so you can use a new one every day, but I'm cheap so I try to get 3-5 uses out of each.

The thing is, even after 3-5 shaves on the same blade, face still stays healthy without any ingrown hairs or anything because single blade razors don't tug and pull on the hair follicles.
