PL14610 is a filter widely used in Hondas for some time. DW's 2009 CR-V, 2014 Pilot, 2016 CR-V and 2018 Odyssey all take this same filter, which is odd because the engine sizes and applications are all different.

I was implying that the OP needs to put that in the title.

[I believe] It applies to all purolator one filters that are prime eligible. The post says link is for example.

The link is for that model only. And the OP put $5.99 in the title...for that model

But yes, all Purolator One filters have $2.00 off coupon

Ok thanks for pointing that out I made the main link to search results instead, added a link to check what fits your vehicle and some other example links.

What's 10kmi filter? how different is it from standard filter?

Toyota doesn't recommend any specific filter with 10kmi intervals, I don't think they even recommend synthetic, but that's what I use.

It has a more durable filter element which also filters finer particles in your oil. With vehicles that have automatic maintenance reminders, often the oil change goes past 5k miles, the most basic filters aren't recommend to go longer than that. Do I think it's necessary to use a 10k mile filter? It certainly wouldn't hurt to.

some dealerships sell toyota filters for my suv for around $4 (filter element only). I assume that's the ones they use for recommended 10kmi oil changes. I don't know if that $4 filer is generic Purolator or PurolatorOne or something else, but at $4 I'd assume it's former. I believe Purolator also made PepBoys $0.99 cents filter (metal ones, which were FAR every other week 10-15 years ago)

Most likely the one the dealer uses is a rebranded Wix filter, not indicated for any mileage. Don't forget the manufacturer only has to warranty the car so long, it's not on them if you have a car past the warranty that starts consuming oil. Those generic filters and synthentic blends the dealer uses in every car coming through the door will keep them out of hot water but by the time the Piston rings wear and you're blowing oil by they will be off the hook.

Granted that's an extreme case but you get the idea.

I change my synthetic oil every 4K. I usually buy an expensive knn or Mobil 1 fully synthetic filter and change the filter every third oil change. Those filters last 10k. I think I'll start using this one instead since it's half the price.
