Brickseek is just flat out inaccurate in terms of what you'll find on the shelf in store. Keep that in mind.

You gotta really search in store. Sometimes they're in the LEGO aisle, sometimes they're in the clearance toy section, and sometimes they're in the regular store clearance S-SHOW aisle.... and of course, sometimes its randomly on a shelf.... for any possible reason.

I've noticed brickseek is fairly accurate, I've had decent luck.

Saw the Scuttler and Killer Croc set last week for $35 and $30, but I can't buy any more, already spoiling the crap out of my son.

Nah, go ahead and buy the stuff for your son. You will build cognitive and hand-eye-coordination skills. Or else maybe you will just teach him to be a "hoarder" like the rest of us. In any case it's no so bad....

Just a heads up, I have a store 30 min from me that has the Killer Croc set for $15. Shows they have 2, but not worth the gas money for me as my son doesn't really care what kind of Legos he has. He just likes to build crap.

+1 on hoarding. I can't believe how many christmases/birthdays worth of legos I have shoved in my upstairs closet.
