I think we all knew this was going to happen sooner or later given the lack of Twitter offers lately but its still sad to see it go.

Thanks for the heads up... anyone knows how to increase the odds of getting offers the normal way? There seems to be many awesome offers I can't get except via Twitter. I am very sad about this decision.

Does it really matter much? Amex offers have been pretty much near worthless for the past year or two imo. They used to have fairly decent offers with offers for major stores like Best Buy, Walmart, etc. Now it is junk like Martha Stewart Wine lol. They have cheapened them up so much I do not even bother looking anymore.

What are you talking about? They just had a $25/$250 one at BB for Holidays. They also had a Walmart one right before that.

The only regular offers they have that are worth anything are Boston Market and stock up on candy bars with FedEx. No big loss with the offers gone from social media.

I only owned the Premier Rewards Gold for 3 months and got the following the past 3 months:

Spend $99 on Amazon Prime, get 5000 points.
Spend $50 at Cheesecake Factory, get 1000 points (used with the free cheesecake gift card offer)
Spend $25 at Mobil, get 1000 points.
Spend $75 at ShopRite, get 2000 points (x2)
Spend $10 at Shake Shack, get 500 points (x2)

I have never accumulated points/miles so fast in my entire life. It is 10x faster than using a Chase Sapphire Reserve and getting 3x on travel and dining.

This is why I think it's dying. It became that people had a ton of twitter accounts that auto retweeted to ensure they got as many offers as possible. Lower quality leads for the companies meant fewer companies wanting to take part. Hopefully by cutting down on the ways to abuse will lead to better quality offers again in the future.
