How difficult is it to hang one of these on a wall mount? Is it a one man job?

Probably 2 people. I couldn't do a 70 inch Vizio on my own.

2 people for sure. Don't want to put all the pressure from lifting in the center of the screen/frame. Better to pick up one on each end... And bought this tv back when it was on sale through the exchange. Absolutely love it. Picture is fantastic, upgraded from a 7 year old 65 inch Panasonic GT30.

Lowest price but still pretty pricey. Gotta believe it has room to drop in the next few weeks as SB approaches.

This is exactly why I'm holding out, but are there any metrics to lend credibility to this "expectation"?

The 65" is what I'm shopping for. It's at $1500 - hoping for a $200 drop by SB, but maybe I'm being overly optimistic...

Not going to happen. There will be deals for sure if you are lucky to get one but prices are not going to come down across the board for SB.

Probably no metrics... But past sales history suggests that the next year model tvs come out around superbowl time, thus sales to move the "last year" models.

I am waiting on the superbowl week sale. Hope it will be 200 dollars cheaper. Also the new 2018 version has better processor to support both HDR and Dolby. Might need to keep my Panasonic plasma for another year...

Would be nice for the 65' to come in at $1200 to $1300 range and the 75" in the sub-$2k. The 2018 model 900F is announced, but no pricing and availability yet which can drive the prices lower.

How is this TV compared to last year's 940D? I almost got that one last year and I remember the 940 looking way better than the 850D in person at BB. The difference was night and day, , but I don't remember seeing a 900 at all. Will the 900E picture be more similar to the 940D, 850D, or kinda in between?

If it drops to $1200-$1300 range, it would be an instant buy for me. But a large part of me thinks that's a pipe dream Smilie

Depends entirely on the person and which mount you are using. Some mounts need 2 people and some are quite easy to install with 1 person. Also depends if you are lift 90lb by yourself or not.
