We know most power companies offer rebates for smart thermostats. This is not a slick deal and should be in informational forum not in deals forum. If you search the boards are littered with so called deals when they are not.

This is a extremely generous rebate with additional quarterly benefits, wish my sleaze ball utility under investigation for misspending in consulting fees would offer this.

I live in San Antonio and have looked into this deal a bit. I think it may only apply if you cede control of your thermostat to CPS during peak consumption times. Look into the fine print.
