There is no amazon deal, they provide the link for reference. The header might have gotten messed up by this inclusion.

Nah. I have one of these types. They work. Just know what you are buying...a $30 heater.

Ordered one, thanks

Update: Received this the other day. Puts out a good amount of heat. Doesn't have a safety switch that kills power in case it gets knocked over. Looks good for the price.

I like the look of these and have considered one in the past, they are just so small. I guess that's not a big deal depending on its need and use. But I'd want one bigger that wouldn't look tiny in my living room

I'd wait for a nicer one to go for a good discount. I've purchased a butt load of discount heaters from Slickdeals and I regret most of them that doesn't normally get retailed for 80+.

The main con of discount heaters is either the lack of precision (more like suggestion to be fair, lol) of temperature control, or the lack of circuit logic to keep itself from turning itself on and off while maintaining the set temperature (turning on and off is very disruptive for sleeping - the good ones will either turn off 1-2 degrees above the set temp and wait for it to reduce, or allow temperate to reduce by 1-2 degrees before kicking back on).

That said, I do not have this heater and there isn't much detail in the specification.

Does anyone know if this will turn back on after a power loss (with power restored), or does it need to be manually started?

It should automatically restart, it's got a power switch like lights to a bedroom, as long as that's flicked on it works. This will heat a small bedroom/living room. It definitely takes the chill out of the room.
