Eyeing the 65". Do people think new sets will be coming down to this price range?

Woot.com is owned by Amazon, therefore anything sold on Woot comes from Amazon.

Why do people keep posting these horrible refurb deals?

You can get it cheaper, brand new, with CC price protection.

Hell Frys has had new 65s cheaper than this BEFORE CCPP ($1800 for the B7A for example)

See above. They already have been. For months. In literally a dozen or more threads posted here in that time. Frys being cheapest, after that the various Beach Camera/Greentoe and Ebay deals all around 1600 after CCPP for the 65"

Thanks buddy! Go ahead and hit that big thumbs down button.

But in all seriousness, this looks to currently be the cheapest way to get either of these sets from a reputable seller. And getting your credit card company to honor price protection using bait and switch online stores is never guaranteed.

To each, their own.

Well, no, it's not.

As already mentioned a brand new 65" is available for $49 less at Frys.

And it's available from numerous other places brand new for less if you count PP.

Guaranteed? I suppose not. But there's literally thousands of folks here, on avsforums, and elsewhere who have all successfully done so- even if a few had to change which B&S site they used to do it.

But sure- if you wanna pay hundreds more for a set with a 90 day warranty, versus getting it for hundreds less and 2-3 years of warranty, knock yourself out I guess.

But it's kinda the opposite of a slick deal.

Where are people price matching the 65" sets against currently? Lately, I've only seen the bait and switch sites listing the LG OLED65B7P cheaply, which is a difficult set to try to buy from a legit retailer so you can do the price protection (most seem to carry the B7A instead).

There is no link.

They can't legally advertise it that cheap.

You have to go into the store and ask. Not look at the shelf price- ASK. They can not ADVERTISE it cheaper than MAP- but they can sell it cheaper. And they do.

(same thing Beach does with call-in pricing being hundreds less than the website for example- though not quite as cheap as Frys)

That said- there's been at least 4 or 5 recent threads right here about people buying them that cheap- do a search.

Hell one guy posted his receipt on an E7 for $1949 from Frys- with the B and C being available even cheaper.

EbuyUSA has the B7A for $1799 (which would still come out $50 less than this deal- for a new one).

But right now the C7P is the "best" deal with PP, since it's $1599 at EbuyUSA, and $1699 at Joe's AV, and $1749 at Best Choice AV.

So ranging from $250, $150, and $100 cheaper than this deal, for a new one, depending which site you use price protection against.

Everyone should go get those deals. I don't live near a Fry's tho.. But we could make a killing flipping them on eBay

This is still a decent deal for those of us without credit cards.

I wouldn't think so... they're already available on ebay for like $2099-2149 brand new from actual dealers with high positive feedback... so unless you're gonna sell for less than that nobody'd buy from you (especially folks aware they buying from an ebay dealer would let them use price protection and get money back from their credit card)

And if you get it for $1800 at Frys and then have to pay shipping to whoever buys it on Ebay, so you're not making very much if anything at all for the effort.

Apart from Jesse on Breaking Bad who buys a $2000 TV and doesn't have any credit cards? (and even then you can get it cheaper, and brand new, paying cash at Frys)

I've been to frys twice in Phoenix and never had any luck with the manager on hand. Idk what secret phrase to use but the stories of these great deals are frustrating when not all frys are the same.
