Clamping voltage is 330V, which is as good as you get without getting into triple digit cost.

From TrippLite's website https://www.tripplite.com/protect...TLP1208TEL :UL1449 Let Through Rating 330V L-G, 400V L-N, 400V N-G

So, you get 330V of let through voltage on L-G. L-N and N-G are at 400V.

The vast majority of equipment is not going to be affected by 500V-600V of let through voltage, and lower clamping levels are just going to make the MOV based surge protectors wear out faster.

This one does claim to be UL1449 3rd edition certified, which, for an inexpensive surge protector, would be impressive. Most inexpensive surge protectors are not actually UL1449 certified, but just use fudge words like "meets the requirements of UL1449" and the like. Most of them also do not specify the UL edition, although this is a less important issue.

My internet slows to a crawl when my modem is powered through this power strip. My modem works fine when connected directly to the wall. Anyone have any idea about this?
