I bought it few weeks ago from Amazon when it was first offered there. Not impressed at all and ended up returning it. The settings are ridiculous and very primitives as if I'm using a 1995 device due to its limited settings, and it is not easy to access and change. Some functions are mandatory while they are supposed to be optional.
The video quality is meh and the wifi connection is not stable.

I only bought it because I wanted to use the remote button to capture videos. I like that instead of reaching the dash cam that's attached to the windshield and activating the emergency recording. I need it to record some of the crazy stuff that I see while I'm driving.

It has been 2 years and I'm using the Philips dash cam adr810, the quality and reliability are amazing. It has a dedicated button for the emergency recording in the cigarette plug. Super nice feature. I got the Vava thinking it is an upgrade, I was wrong.

Now, I'm experimenting DDPAI dash cam, which is very impressive, it has a dedicated wireless button, the wiFi connection is stable and it is smart too. When you want to connect to the camera "even if you were connected to you home wifi" the app handles your phone connection automatically to switch from the home wifi to the dash cam wifi.

I got a firmware upgrade, and the DDPAI app in my phone switched me from the dash cam wifi and then to the home wifi to pull the new firmware from DDPAI servers, then switched me automatically into the dash cam wifi to push the update into the camera. It is a smart app.

The video quality is amazing with the DDPAI, that's why I will be listing my old lovely Philips in eBay. The dedicated emergency button let's the dash cam record 15 seconds before the event and 15 seconds after the event. You still get the loop recording and there are many great features and settings. Imagine you can turn on the park mode, but you can specify the camera to automatically stop recording in the park mode after x hours to avoid draining the car battery.

They have the Mini2P and the M4 Plus which are currently the top of line. They do have an upcoming Mini3 model.
