This comment is pointless without factor in horizontal resolution, refresh rate, and respond time. You are just pretending you understand spec.

There is no such thing as qled. I am a Samsung fan but they really need to stop with the misleading advertising. LG is suing them over this and rightfully so.

Regarding the monitor specs and price. It's not terrible, however spending 1k for a monitor (no matter the screen size) and not getting 4k seems silly.

Well there is, quantum dot tech is a real thing. Everyone has their own marketing name for quantum dot. qled is samsungs. Its shitty how close it is to oled but it is a real thing.

Sounds like we both are. Sorry I forget to throw in tech sounding words while not elaborating. It's not pretending that a giant expensive monitor that isn't even 2k is as pointless as ur comment

Either you're just a Troll, or you're pretending, 2K resolution is 2048x1080.

Actually, there is. It's quantum-dot with LED-backlighting. What you people should have cried and sued about was "LED" TVs, which were nothing more than LED-backlighting for an LCD panel, with entirely deceptive terming.

QLED stands for Quantum-dot LED and claiming to be a "fan" you should know this basic fact. LG is not suing Samsung over the use of QLED marketing, stop making things up. LG is suing over violation of OLED patent infringement on Samsung tablets and phones.

Quantum dot displays are also a technical subset of LCD panels and are not a marketing gimmicks.

Maybe I haven't kept up with gaming but is it still only a horizontal affair like Wolfenstein 3D was? If 1080p is acceptable for a "gaming" monitor it must be as 1080p does nothing for vertical content display. I guess games don't require you to look up or see anything above you?

I love my Samsung 32" 2560x1440 monitor that allows me to have three legal size documents side-by-side and see the entirety of their content top to bottom.
