I noticed yesterday that Amazon had some good coupons going on for this brand, so I was clicking around this morning and I think I found another good deal on a meat thermometer.

Gets good reviews. I've already got one but I figured I would share.

I actually have this. Came free with my grill cover. It's pretty good!

I have had one of these for years. Was a Slickdeal, can't remember from where. Meritline maybe when they still actually had good deals. Anyway, decent thermometer. Uses one easily replaceable button cell, and more or less matches the temperature of a much more expensive thermometer we have. Remember, this is $4, so don't expect a heavy duty super accurate commercial grade thermometer...

I've had this for about a year and the battery already died (or the unit I guess). Recommend spending a bit more for a faster and better unit

How do you get it to stay at Fahrenheit and not Celsius? Drives me nuts.

have one of these. It is extremely SLOW. It takes at least 1 min from sticking it into meat and getting a stable temperature. the reading rises 2 degrees -ish every tick

Main difference isn't accuracy but speed. Had a clone of this and it was slow, even slower than other cheap ones.

This came with a grill cover and I was stoked. However, this thing already show my meat is under temperature and caused me to overcook my meats. It's definitely inaccurate. Avoid.

Wow, thanks. Im def not buying if it takes a full minute to give you the temperature reading.

Thats too much of a waste of time
