One negative to consider: paper filters remove a compound (Cafestol) in brewed coffee that is responsible for raising LDL cholesterol levels. Metal filters cannot do this.

FYI: Can only order once with coupon. Up to 4 packs according to OP.

Now would be a good time to have multiple Amazon accounts...

Don't you mean A on Fakespot? Unless I'm missing something, the link you shared doesn't show anything about an F. Even if it was an F, not sure how a coffee filter will result in my death.

Thanks for sharing this! I know this is a forum for deals only but I got interested in this statement and decided to search it up. It is one article that i read but a quick summary of it states that 11-13% of cafestol is found in the filter paper, 0.1-0.2% of the cafestol is in the coffee drink, and the rest is in the "spent" coffee (aka used grounds).

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28873752
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cafestol

I still bought the metal filters anyways bc sometimes i like a rich unfiltered cup of coffee and with the slow shipping $1 credit, it was a no brainer.

I agree! I'm a french press kind of a person so I won't mind too much, but it's an interesting thing to know.
