It depends on what people view towards their health. Each their own.

As a person on Keto, My doctor said I'm good with everything, cholesterol, blood pressure, etc etc. on my last check up (6 weeks in keto), I work out 5 of 7 days though for my health. I have a tbsp of butter in my black coffee every morning!

I know Quest HAD a KETO line but they removed it, I am assuming they are trending these cookies for both LC/atkins dieters and Keto dieters

It does matter what diet you're on. Butter is pretty much a staple on keto, and based on your comments, I get the sense that you're not that familiar with it.

I will agree that it's not healthy if butter is all that you eat, or if you were to eat nothing but these cookies. I don't think anyone is saying that. If you have the occasional cookie with butter and eat other fats, no big deal.

It might be quite important for the taste/texture of the cookie to use butter. And, based on your earlier comment to "just eat a real cookie...cheaper" -- well, you absolutely can't do that on keto. If we could, we wouldn't be shelling out this much money for pseudocookies.

I ordered one chocolate chip and one oatmeal raisin, and the discount still works, which is awesome.

I wish they hadn't switched over to that corn fiber. That stuff wreaks havoc on my insides.

Why is the peanut butter $28? Because it's the most popular?

It should work, just make sure you choose AMAZON.COM as the seller. The current default is Vitamin Shoppe, for some reason.

It will automatically get discounted at checkout

shame on quest. fat doesnt make you fat, but not sure i would consider butter something that most nutrition enthusiasts would consider a health food. just eat a real cookie and drink a protein shake... cheaper.

these companies think they can just put some whey in a snickers bar and call it a nutrition supplement.

it does not matter what diet you are on, there are healthy fats and unhealthy fats

butter may not make you fat, but it is not healthy. there are much better fats for your diet if your goal is health, not just weight loss.

may not show up on your cholesterol and blood pressure checks, but look at any study comparing different types of fats and you will see that dietary fat composition does have effects on overall health and risk factor for things like coronary artery disease, stroke, etc. saturated and trans fats are pro-inflammatory.

and just fyi im not telling you what you can or cannot eat, and or that you are not healthy. but there are fats that are much healthier for you than butter. no nutritionist can prove otherwise based on any accepted medical research.
