This seems to be one of the best quads you can get for under $15 or perhaps $20.

Many on SD have had bad experiences with Gearbest, so knock on wood. My one order went through without issue in the past but that was just one. I would recommend using a CC with a good chargeback policy given the reports of other SDers.

$12.99 shipped, box drone different format extremely newbie friendly, also very good reviews https://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadc...40970.html

A good toy for an adult or kid if you don't have one or need a gift to give. Both are better prices than are available on Ebay or other sellers by a decent margin.

This is basically normal price, and was just $10 shipped from US warehouse a day or two ago. In late November it was $7 from the China warehouse.

Had no idea. I guess I've been sleeping during all the cheap drone deals because I've never seen one on SD just by happenstance I guess. Good info, guess it's best to wait.

Simple search to check an item before posting will save you the trouble of posting. "Furibee" yields all the past deals

So BTW I ordered these from Gearbest, and even from their California office it took from the morning of January 2nd when I placed my order until the 19th (yesterday) to receive it.

I open the package that is addressed to me, and it has an order # from some other guy in Africa in there, and some crappy cheap LED lights in it and no drones.

I'm trying to figure out if the person that fulfilled my order was some poor illegal immigrant working in a dimly lit sweatshop somewhere or one of those work programs for special-needs disabled people and I happened to get the guy with all three major forms of retardation.

The cherry on top, is that Gearbest has lost our customer data to hackers, so if you end up with fraudulent charges on your credit card and need to jump through hoops to get reimbursed and a new card shipped to you, you probably know who to thank:
https://slickdeals.net/f/11080679-gearbest-hacked-customer-details-including-password-available-online?v=1&src=SiteSearch Update: Gearbest has also now (either on accident through negligence or just don't care) published customer's names, youtube accounts, and products they have purchased on Reddit by their customer service agent [reddit.com]. Edit: After weeks of painful back and forth fighting with gearbest, and finally getting a response through Paypal, Paypal says that their job is only to process whether or not a package made it to me and if I don't want it and want a refund that a package makes it back; what is inside isn't their problem. Shipping with full route tracking to China is prohibitively expensive at about $60, which Paypal and Gearbest say I have to pay.

This is craptastic crap.

There's a deal on a $15 Syma drone, shipped from Amazon, in another thread.

That blows this away on every possible count.

not accurate. The $15 Syma is a better deal but as far as the drones themselves they both are good but for different uses.

The Syma is very easy to fly so is suitable for a beginner, but is best flown outdoors with no wind. It's too big to fly in the house comfortably.

The Furibee F36 is small, fast, and agile. It's very fun to fly indoors but not really suitable indoors for a beginner because managing the throttle takes some experience.

A better choice for for easy flying indoors is a small drone with altitude hold. Altitude hold requires less throttle management than drones without it.
