Do you mean price protection? I don't think WM or any stores price matches to a clearance item.

Yeah. Discover will price protect if it is in stock in store...which is normally viewable on walmart.com (via whatever zip code.)

This are not showing up in the store inventory search, unfortunately.

These things suck in my opinion. Bought them a while back and after installing 1 said screw it. Rather just get a true smart switch.

These are probably the older style which I bought but not from Walmart.
It is a bit tricky to get the rocker switch to switch.
There's a little motor that moves. You have to position the Switchmate just right.
The new version has two pistons which I think is a better concept. This new version is also narrower.

Anyway, showing $15 around me.

Works with Alexa? Description does not specifically say, however it does mention Google home. $15 around me, plenty of stock. If these work with Alexa I'll keep an eye on them, hopefully go a bit lower

That's because they tried to make it too simple simply holding it on with a magnet. That's only a big selling point if you will be installing and removing this over and over in quick succession. Otherwise, use some doublesided tape and fix it on properly. Problem solved.

It isn't whether it stayed on or not. I had no problems with that.
You have to position it so that the end points of the motor movement will activate both ends of the rocker switch. Placement is key. The magnets are good enough.
