This is a fire hazard risk. Not UL certified.

Fast tracked because of the vendor since slickdeals most likely gets a decent cut from the referral link. Also, this fire hazard has made front page several times before.

My company malware blocker blocks this site completely, so not only is the product not safe, the website isn't either.

It had thumbs up when it hit pop deals then more users voted it down. It'll drop from pop deals eventually now.

It's not on the Front Page Smilie You might have this category set as one you like in your front page preferences, so at the time this hit pop deals, it would have shown as a personalized pop deal on your FP but only because it was popular deal at the time. It'll drop off eventually since it's no longer a pop deal.

Can't say anything about the product but I believe I purchased from this place before without a problem.

Vendor has been on here a bunch so it should be safe except that they are notorious for taking forever to ship and having poor communication about status/delays.

For those saying UL is no big deal. Try telling that to your insurance company if something does go awry and your house/apartment whatever burns down. You have just given them an out to deny your claim.

I've been looking at these outlet cover LED nightlights since they have been popular a few times lately. I'm really interested in getting some, but worried about people saying they might cause a fire.
I know someone who runs a company that provides electrical work and who has been a master electrician for over 35 years, and I asked him about this product.

The master electrician's advice was: It looks like a safe product, but DEFINITELY get one that's UL listed. The method of installation is probably safe, as long as it's UL listed.
I think I'm going to spend a few dollars more to get one that's UL listed.
Hope this helps!

I bought 5 of these last time they were on Slickdeals. If you have the correct outlet, they work great. No complaints.

I really think people shouldn't vote this deal down, if they haven't actually purchased the item.
