I rarely ever go to Rite-Aid but I do have a wellness card. Does this mean I can go to Rite-Aid, buy a 50.00 Best Buy gift card and get 20.00 on my wellness card and then I can spend that 20.00 to buy another gift card or something else in the store?

What does it mean in ad when it says $8.00 Wellness + Bonus cash next to Best Buy gift card - see attached? Do you get 8.00 Wellness points and an additional Bonus of 20.00 Wellness points.

lol. I need to learn the Rite-Aid Wellness lingo. It's all Greek to me.

Can you use bonus cash to buy gift cards? Or is there a list of exclusions?

Good Luck! That would be a great deal if it stacks. Yeah, please report back.

ETA: I just did a chat with Rite-Aid. They say you will only get $8.00 Wellness Bonus Cash if buy 50.00 Best Buy card. You only get the 20.00 Bonus points if buying certain items that are listed to be in the promo and gift cards aren't. It's not worth it for 8.00 because that would be about 4.00 in Rite Aid money.

I do not believe gift cards are part of $20 bonus for purchasing $50 of participating items. Please update post to avoid confusions.

All gift cards are always excluded from these promotions at Rite Aid. The new wellness+ points program is a major downgrade from the plenti program they were apart of. Points used to expire after two years. Now it's two months.

I looked into this... looking at the ad, the gift cards don't qualify for the specific "BonusCash Bash" $20 back for $50 offer. Things that qualify for that offer are marked with a "participating item" badge in the weekly ad, just as it says on the BonusCash page, as seen here:
https://puu.sh/z7tNN/0bf3ca0110.jpg

However, the Gift Cards, while they do have BonusCash offers of their own, do not have the BonusCash Bash Participating Item Badge, as seen here:
https://puu.sh/z7tNb/09185fd9fa.jpg

I can see why the OP thought they were part of it though, and good on you OP for trying to post a good deal. Just remember to always keep an eye on the small print and exclusions. A lot of companies are putting a lot more restrictive terms on their points these days with confusing advertising.

Why is $8 only $4 rite aid money?
